Well to start with we have years of experience!  We know what makes a fabulous image and how the day will flow. We really want you to love your photos and having two photographers on the day will cover double the angles.  I’ve laced up hundreds of dresses and fixed many a hairdo and veil halfway through the day.  I’ve even driven a Bride and her family to the church when their wedding transport broke down!  So lets meet up for a coffee and a chat about your wedding plans. It’s so important that we’re the right photographers for you.  Don’t live in Cornwall or Devon?  No problem.  We love a Skype or Zoom meeting too.

Our Story

I’m Natalie and have been a photographer for as long as I can remember. My first camera was a small red plastic 35mm that I’m pretty sure was an 8th birthday present. My Dad was a photographer and taught me everything I know about film. I’m hopelessly addicted to shoes and have been known to happy dance when a pair of “Irregular Choice” appears beside the dress!  I do all my editing listening to a random mix of David Bowie, AC/DC and very loud 70s ‘road trip’ music (as Robb describes it!) and am way too fond of chocolate cake 🙂

The other half of Iconik Photography is my husband Robb. We’ve been married for over 20 years! Robb is super multi-talented (but don’t tell him I said that…) as well as having a degree in illustration and graphic design, he’s just as passionate about writing and performing music as he is about photography. On past travels he photographed bands, toured with Motorhead and even had 3 of his plays performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in the same year. Life hasn’t been dull!

We live close to the sea in beautiful Cornwall, sharing our home with two noisy teenagers, a small scruffy terrier (keep an eye out for him on our instagram stories!) and a probably-ridiculous amount of vintage cameras.

Our Style

Is a contemporary mixture of reportage and classic wedding photography, very natural & unobtrusive.  We capture images as the day unfolds and are always watching for those magic moments that might otherwise go unnoticed…a proud look from a parent…a flower girl twirling around….a page boy building a sandcastle… You put so much effort into planning your special day and we want you to see it all!

Our aim is to blend in & mingle. We hate posing & staging everything so we’ll keep that to an absolute minimum.  Of course we can photograph groups too, but we recommend you keep these to no more than 10.  When your gallery is ready you’ll have a wonderful mix of images telling the story of your wedding day. Prepare to get emotional all over again!
