Anna & Desh’s (actually Andrew but who are we to argue with a nickname!) sunny October wedding was just so much fun. Anna slightly overran at the hairdressers in the morning – well she had warned me that timekeeping wasn’t her strong point 🙂 – but it really didn’t matter because I got time to chat with the Tuk Tuk driver! Meanwhile Robb met up with Desh and the boys at the Cathedral (ok pub first!) for some photos. Anna wanted to keep everything very relaxed & reportage and we were happy to oblige.
We realised pretty quickly that Anna & Desh are an incredibly fun couple – very laid back with a twist of disorganisation – and clearly everyone loves them for it. Anna’s fit of the giggles during the ceremony even made the priest laugh! After the ceremony we sneakily followed them around Plymouth in the amazing Tuk Tuk. Its a rare sight in Plymouth and nearly stopped the traffic outside the theatre! Being a wedding photographer is a lot of fun 🙂
At The Royal William Yard the reception was in full swing and you could be forgiven for thinking it was the middle of summer instead of October. We took advantage of the fabulous deckchairs at the venue and the historic tunnels in the former royal navy victualling yard. The speeches were completely hilarious and afterwards we left everyone to the enjoy the rest of the day uninterrupted.
A fabulous day with lovely people x
